An electrical components manufacturer was having trouble with its promotion to motivate employees and thank customers. It decided to use a variety of promotional products to help at each level.
For the customer aspect of the campaign, a demo van visited mechanics and trades people for hands-on training and handed out drink insulators, caps, and hats imprinted with the program’s name.
For the employee aspect, the workers were separated into teams and participated in sales challenges with increasing levels of difficulty. Promotional products were awarded at each level starting with golf shirts and Swiss Army Knives for the smaller challenges and golf bag covers and digital cameras for higher levels.
