OVERVIEW:

A supplier wanted to attract visitors to its booth at a trade show.  It decided to give away a product that combined a sample of a journal and the supplier’s catalog.  The journal was useful for taking notes during the show, and the mini catalog inside the journal provided information about the supplier’s products.

DISTRIBUTION:

Given away at the company's tradeshow booth.

OUTCOME:

Over 16,000 visitors received the catalog, creating 12,000 leads.  The supplier attributed an overall sales increase of 10% to the promotion.
