A large company that specializes in mold remediation, restoration and general contracting had a booth at a “disaster experience fair” to show property managers what to do in case of emergencies. Although the company knew they dealt with serious issues executives, still wanted to find a lighthearted way to promote their company’s message. They decided to imprint flasks with the company’s name and attach a note that said, “In case of an emergency: 1. Call Us, 2. Sit Back and 3. Take a sip.”
People loved the idea and line up at the company’s booth to receive their own little flask. Executives knew whether or not people used the flasks, they would remember the company’s name.
